Meet The Team

How We BeganThis Adventure
Like many great love stories, it started with some awesome people who love good food and quality conversation. Although coming from different backgrounds and interests, we all love the creative industry and have a passion for our craft in addition to taking care of others. From the start, our business philosophy has always been about being transparent, honest, and ethical while making a meaningful impact on the world around us.

Bobbi
Owner, Photographer, Artist
Born in Cleveland, I have been in tune to the pulse of the city my entire life. I see life in angles, lighting and lines of perspectives. Each and every day is full of beautiful moments and images when your heart is open. I feel so lucky that I get to live creatively and push the scope of my experience. My career has taken me all over the United States and I have shot weddings coast to coast. There is nothing more rewarding than giving our clients lifelong memories that capture the individual beauty hey bring to the world. I would love to capture your story and take this journey with you.
Ashley
Hair & Makeup Stylist
Ashley has been doing hair and makeup for our clients since end of 2014 and keeps our boudoir and bridal clients looking fierce and flawless. We were fortunate enough to work with Ashley as one of our brides in August of 2014 and bonded so well that I asked her to bring her talents to the studio team. With her laid back personality and wide skill set on how to highlight the best features of our clients, she fit right in and brings the personal style of every client we have to life in a way that radiates in front of the camera. Ashley and her husband David have two adorable boys who also love to ham it up in front of the camera and who we have been shooting with for most of their lives. She has had her license since 2008 and loves the flexibility working for the studio gives her to raise her family while pursuing her love of making people look and feel their best. She is available for boudoir clients, senior portraits, maternity portraits, and wedding day styling needs. She can be reached directly clicking the “Contact Us” link on the website!
Karmi
Assistant
Karmi also came to us as a client back in 2012 before she started her journey working for the studio! She has been in front of the camera with her son for Mommy and Me portraits and also as a boudoir client in 2014. Following her boudoir experience, she fell in love with the creativity of photography as well as the empowerment that boudoir brings to our clients and joined the team! Karmi does lighting for our boudoir sessions, assists with mini session days and weddings, is excellent at helping keep me organized and hydrated, and also second shoots for our wedding clients. Outside of the studio, Karmi is an avid coffee drinker and fitness fiend,
is a foodie who loves cooking and trying new things, and loves to spend time with her son.
David
Assistant
David and I have been friends since 1998 and he has become an essential part of my team in the last several years following his return home from the Navy. Dave creates stunning displays of industrial furniture for the the studio and our commercial clients. He is also our in-house wedding officiate and is available as an add on to any wedding photography package! When he’s not picking up new skills and crafting modern projects of metal and wood, he loves being a family man to our stylist Ashley and raising their growing family. David has been passionate about weddings since his own wedding to Ashley in 2014. He loves marrying couples in love and being helpful to people on one of the most important days of their lives.
FAQ
Do you have a studio?
Yes! We have a 2000sq ft space located at 7511 Mentor Avenue Suite 6 in Mentor, Ohio between the Great Lakes Mall and Rt. 306. Our studio shooting area caters to our boudoir clients with lofty bedroom setups and multiple shooting atmospheres to give you luxury results in a comfortable atmosphere as well as our commercial head shot clients who need solid scenery to put their best foot forward. We also have a large consultation area where we showcase session photography in gallery reveal meetings on our 4k viewing screen. The consultation area is the ideal meeting spot to hang out with our wedding inquiries and is where we hold most of our bridal meetings. The studio allows us to have intimate meeting space away from the noise of coffeeshops and where we can easily show you the resulting albums and enlargements of what your photography will look like with my team. Our studio hours are built around the needs of our clients as we are always on the go shooting in beautiful places around northeast Ohio. We most commonly hold meetings and studio sessions between 9am and 6:30pm Monday through Friday although we can accommodate your schedule as needed. Click the “Contact Us” link and let us know what you’re looking for and I’m happy to chat about your needs!
Are you a full-time photographer or is this a part-time gig?
I am happily a full time photographer. Fortunately my work is doing something I absolutely love and I take much pride on the work my studio produces and in the relationships my team has with our clients.
What do you consider to be your specialty?
Primarily anything in the senior portrait range and up in age is where I feel like my style truly shines. Our weddings, engagements, and boudoir packages account for 80% of my business and (if I had to pick), I would consider that my specialty with senior portraits and business/commercial head shots in a very close second place. While I do still work with growing families, children, maternity, newborns, etc- I prefer to do those types of sessions on-site in natural settings that bring out the personality of the people in the pictures rather than in the studio.
What do you do outside of photography?
Not much! Kidding. Kinda. I’m definitely married to my job and my life is generally pretty focused on making sure my clients are high on my priority list. I attend a
variety of training seminars several times each year for continuing education on how to bring you the best photography possible. I love traveling for business but also shooting scenery in the cool places I visit. I’m also a total outdoor girl that loves hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, river walking, and going for long walks through the Metroparks with my dog, Bronson, who is pretty much the best thing ever. While I am a total coffee fanatic and foodie, I also had a bit of a weight loss journey and I am currently down around 50lbs and counting. I love being active and cooking at home but I would rather do fun lifestyle activities than hang out at the gym. I’m also big on community involvement and believe in snapping it forward. I partner with several organizations throughout the year to donate photography and design services with a particular focus on animal rescue and suicide prevention organizations.
Do you rent out your studio to other photographers?
Only the awesome ones 🙂 If you are a photographer or area business in need of a place to go, reach out. Let’s chat.
Do you do on-location work?
Yes! I have shot weddings, sessions and events from New York City to San Diego and everywhere in between. I love to travel and I’m always open to exploring new locations or going wherever suits the needs of our clients. Family, maternity, engagement, senior portraits, and head shots come out incredible when taken in an area that highlights the personalities and individual interests of the people in the photography. We know dozens of great places to visit in northeast Ohio and can offer lots of suggestions on where take great photographs at different times of the year.
How long are sessions?
It varies according to your needs and the ages of who will be in the photography. We offer mini sessions twice a year for Mother’s Day and in the fall which tend to be around the 20 minute time frame. Full length sessions can be anywhere from 45 minutes to two hours depending on your session package and if we are shooting at multiple locations. Full length sessions are all customized to the preferences and needs of our clients.
What type of equipment do you use?
Whatever in my photography arsenal is necessary to get the job done! In my toolbox you would find several Canon 5d Mark IV and Mark III bodies, telephoto lenses, macro, wide angle and fisheye lenses, lenses from both the Sigma Art and Lensbaby collections, several Westcott Icelight II’s, Canon and Yungnuo Speedlights, and Anderson ring lights.
How long have you been in business? How long have you been shooting weddings?
Sometimes it’s hard to remember that there was ever a time when I wasn’t doing this! I have been shooting since 2005 and started my business in 2012. The first wedding I shot was in 2009 and it was love at first love. On average, I shoot 20-30 weddings per year and work with hundreds of clients for session photography.
Do you ever teach or give workshops?
Yes and yes! I offer classes in both small group and on a one-on-one basis. If you are looking to get to know camera basics better and how to use your DSLR camera, I would recommend a one-on-one class to give you individual training on your gear. Classes for lighting, posing, and post-production are great for small groups. I will also host photo walks several times each year, often on a donation basis to benefit an area organization. For pricing, availability, and current options for what we have going on, click “Contact” and reach out!
Are you hiring and do you accept interns?
My team is pretty solid and I don’t have part time or full time positions available at the moment- however I’m always happy to keep information on hand if the need for more help arises. Internships and senior project positions are available May-October and are primarily utilized for wedding assistance or behind the scenes work.
